What is Morpheus8?
The device combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology for fractional resurfacing to stimulate collagen production. It offers the deepest fractional treatment available, penetrating the subcutaneous tissue to a depth of 8 mm. In the deeper layers of the skin, the building blocks of the natural aging process are reorganized. Little to no damage is done to the dermis, and this procedure provides an extremely even and effective effect. The procedure is slightly invasive.
Both Morpheus8 and Ultherapy are non-invasive contouring procedures, and the differences are mainly in their performance, as they use different technologies.Morpheus8 is a microneedling procedure in which individual needles deliver radiofrequency energy deep into the skin. Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound waves to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Unlike Morpheus8, Ultherapy does not penetrate the skin. Instead, an ultrasound device is placed on the area to be treated, and the ultrasound waves then penetrate deep into the skin. The advantage of Morpheus8 over Ultherapy is that it also resolves resurfacing of the face or treated area.
Morpheus8 can be applied to any area that would benefit from subdermal resurfacing. The most suitable areas are those of the face, neck and décolleté that are prone to wrinkles, pigmentary changes or acne scars. This is followed by the areas of the inner thighs, buttocks, around the navel and abdomen, the area above the elbows and the knee area.
It is recommended to repeat the procedure 1-3 times. The results are visible after a few days, but most noticeable after three weeks. The improvements last up to three months after the treatment.
The advantage of the color-blind Morpheus8 technology is that it can be used on all skin types. Its unique properties allow it to treat even darker skin types with a low risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which is common with other resurfacing methods.
A few days after treatment, the skin may be slightly red and small bruises or raised micro-scabs may form at the injection sites. Usually, the skin on the treated area calms down three to fourteen days after the procedure. Moisturize the treated area and avoid direct sunlight. We also recommend long-term and regular use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

- Face and neck.
- Face, neck, décolleté.
- Problem areas on the body.
We recommend the procedure in the low-sun season, as hyperpigmentation can occur in predisposed clients.
If you opt for a Morpheus8 treatment in the sunny season, you must avoid direct sunlight, extreme heat and cold and use a high sun protection factor.
